Prayer of the Sacred Heart Family

Heavenly Father, as the Sacred Heart Family, we gather before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your boundless love and the countless blessings You bestow upon us.

Though we are unworthy, we place our trust in Your mercy and grace. In humility, we ask forgiveness for our sins, both known and unknown. Cleanse our hearts and lead us ever closer to You.

Lord Jesus, we entrust our salvation to Your Sacred Heart and seek Your guidance as we strive to walk in holiness.

We remember with love and compassion the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Grant them Your mercy and bring them swiftly into the joy of Your Eternal Presence.

We pray for sinners throughout the world, especially those in their final hours, that they may turn to You and accept the Gift of Salvation.

We also lift up our family members and loved ones, entrusting them to Your care, and praying that Your Grace may lead them to the fullness of Truth in You.

Lord, we entrust to Your healing touch the sick, the hospitalized, those confined to their homes, and those who are alone and elderly. May they feel Your comforting Presence, and if it is Your will, restore them to health and strength.

We pray for our Holy Father, Pope Leo — strengthen him in mind, body, and spirit, that he may shepherd Your Church with wisdom, courage, and fidelity to Your will.

Bless all the clergy and religious, and increase their numbers. Bless also the lay faithful, that we may work together as one body in Christ.

We lift up the leaders of all nations, asking that Your Spirit guide them to govern with justice, integrity, and compassion; promoting peace and the dignity of human life.

Lastly, Heavenly Father, we pray for unity among all Christians, across every denomination and tradition. Bring us together under one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, under one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and under the One True God, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You in the Unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer of Trust to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, I come to you with childlike trust, knowing that you see the depths of my heart.

In moments of fear, confusion, or discouragement, I place my confidence in your maternal love. Guide me with your gentle hand. Shelter me under your pure mantle.

Form my heart to be more like your own; patient, silent, obedient, and burning with love for Jesus.

When I fall, lift me. When I stray, call me home. When I’m afraid, remind me that you are near.

Dearest Mother, I surrender this day to your Immaculate Heart. Hold me close, and lead me always to your Son. Amen.

Acts of Faith, Hope, and Charity

Act of Faith: O my God, I firmly believe that You are One God in Three Divine Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that Your Divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because You have revealed them, Who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

Act of Hope: O my God, relying on Your infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of Your grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

Act of Charity: O my God, I love You above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because You are all good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of You; I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

Resolution to Avoid Evil and Do Good

Adorable Jesus, Divine pattern of that perfection to which we should all aspire, I will endeavor this day to follow Your example; to be mild, humble, chaste, zealous, patient, charitable and resigned.

Incline my heart to keep Your commandments. I am resolved to watch over myself with the greatest diligence and to live soberly, justly, and piously for the time to come. I will take care of my words that I may not offend with my tongue; I will turn away my eyes that they may not see vanity; and I will be particularly attentive not to relapse this day into my accustomed failings, but to struggle against them with Your gracious assistance.
