About the Month of Our Lady of Sorrows
September is traditionally dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, the Sorrowful Mother who stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross of her Son. This devotional month invites us to contemplate the Seven Sorrows of Mary and to unite our own sufferings and joys with her pierced Heart, sharing in her total union with Christ’s Passion.
Throughout September, the Sacred Heart Family gathers each morning and evening in prayer, drawing close to Our Blessed Mother through Catholic Daily Prayers September. Together we honor the woman who bore all sorrow with faith, and who continues to intercede for each of us as we walk our own journey of trust in Jesus.
The feast of Our Lady of Sorrows on September 15 stands at the heart of the month, calling the faithful to a deeper devotion to the Sorrowful Mother. In these Catholic Daily Prayers September, we offer the joys and burdens of each day to her maternal Heart, confident in her tender care.
Whether you are joining for the first time or returning as part of the Sacred Heart Family, these prayers are an invitation to slow down, to enter into the presence of Christ, and to rest in the maternal love of Our Lady of Sorrows. Bookmark this page and return each day this September to pray with us.
